The walled garden

Sally’s main focus is her  200-year old walled garden, once the garden of  a rectory. It extends to about 2/3rds of an acre and features a kitchen garden, orchard and large ornamental area with an extensive water harvesting system, herbaceous beds, and gravel gardens. With climate change in mind, the plant selection has been focussed on climate resilient species and biodiversity, permeability while the beds are all heavily mulched to protect the soil. The Walled Garden is open on a couple of days a year and garden groups are welcome by appointment.
